Welcome Christoffer Backman in the role of Customer Growth Executive

Centuri's growth journey continues and we are investing in our customer relationships by additional further key expertise. We are delighted to welcome Christoffer Backman in the role of Customer Growth Executive, with a focus on deepening and developing relationships with our existing customers.

Extensive experience in customer relations and business development

Christoffer Backman has worked in sales for most of his career. Early on, he worked with hardware and software sales during the digitalization breakthrough in Sweden. Since then, customers have spanned most industries with an emphasis on the public sector.

Most recently, he comes from a tech/SaaS company in decision support, where he was responsible for, among other things, contract management and business development mainly towards municipalities. With this background, Christoffer brings solid knowledge of what it takes to build long-term and profitable customer relationships. 

I thrive best in relationships that are genuinely valuable for both parties over time. For me, strong customer relationships are about trust that is built for the long term. That requires patience, honesty, and consistently delivering on what you promise, says Christoffer.

A natural and safe career move

The path to Centuri was not a coincidence.  Through former colleagues already in place, he had formed a very positive impression of the company, and the fact that Centuri is owned by Monterro weighed heavily in the decision.

  I had very good experiences of Monterro as an owner from a previous employer. The combination of that and colleagues I already knew made it feel like a natural and safe step, says Christoffer.

Close to the customer all the way

In the role of Customer Growth Executive, the mission is clear: to work closely with existing customers, understand their needs and ensure that they get the full value of Centuri's products and services.

An important part of the job is to understand in depth what quality management and document management actually mean for each customer's business, and how Centuri's delivery concretely contributes to their goals.

This makes it important for me to immerse myself in the regulations that are relevant in each customer's industry. I see that as an exciting part of entering a new domain, says Christoffer.

A warm welcome and an exciting time ahead

Christoffer describes his first time at Centuri as very welcoming and he emphasizes the company culture and the good atmosphere of all colleagues gathering in the office.

In the long term, Christoffer hopes to be able to contribute as Centuri continues to grow and broaden its customer base.
